Container Hacking - An Escape Story

Hacking containers. Fingerprinting, information disclosure, escape techniques, and maybe some pitfalls to avoid when setting them up. Oh, and it's got lots of hands on stuff!


Requirements:

  • Laptop with administrator access

  • Virtualbox and Vagrant installed on laptop

  • Have the following vagrant box set up - https://github.com/ProfessionallyEvil/Pequod

  • If people have trouble setting this up, they can leave an issue on the repository or we can troubleshoot during the workshop


About the Instructor:

Cory Sabol is a consultant at Secure Ideas with a background in web development, web research, and machine learning research. He has several published academic research papers on user identification using WebID. In addition to web research he has conducted research work on botnet detection using machine learning.
